H.M.P. Sanjeewanie has earned a Doctorate at the Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland in 2019, Master of Arts in Economy and Society at the University of Lancaster (UK) in 2014, Master of Arts in Economics at the University of Colombo (Sri Lanka) in 2005, and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics at the University of Ruhuna (Sri Lanka) in 2001.
